Conversiones Decimales y Métricas
Conversiones rápidas que un armador necesita en cada obra: pulgadas fraccionarias a decimal, dieciseisavos a treintaidosavos, e imperial a métrico. Las tablas de consulta que viven al final de cada Libro Azul.

Convertir cualquier fracción común (octavos, dieciseisavos, treintaidosavos, sesentaicuatroavos, séptimos, sextos) a decimal de un vistazo, y convertir cualquier medida imperial (pulgadas, pies, yardas, pies cuadrados) a o desde métrica (mm, cm, m, m²).
Fracciones en tres resoluciones
Los armadores cortan a dieciseisavos; los carpinteros de acabado cortan a treintaidosavos; los ebanistas cortan a sesentaicuatroavos. La tabla de abajo cubre las tres más octavos, todas en decimal para que los valores se mapeen directo a una cinta con ambas reglas.

Dos tablas: imperial a métrico (pulgadas → mm, pies → m, pies² → m²), luego métrico a imperial al revés. Multiplica por el factor indicado.

- 10 Metros = 1 Decámetro (Dm.) = 32.808992 feet
- 10 Decámetros = 1 Hectómetro (Hm.) = 19.927817 rods
- 10 Hectómetros = 1 Kilómetro (Km.) = 1093.61 yards, o 0.6213824 mile
- 10 Kilómetros = 1 Miriámetro (Mm.) = 6.213824 miles
